With the option of blended training, a mixture of online and classroom training, time out of action whilst training can be reduced. The convenience of blended training is a real benefit, with courses being available 24/7 across mobile and desktop devices. When working on the online section, there’s no need to leave home or the office; a great benefit for the trainee and employer.
The general principles of working in confined spaces are covered in this qualification, providing the learner with an understanding of the key issues. Here’s a few key points:
Our course will help you understand how to work safely in a confined space, within the legislation and regulations set out. An important part of this is assessing and reducing the risks posed by the job site.
When working within a team, define roles to carry out the job safely. More importantly, if you’re working alone there are extra precautions that need to be taken, which are detailed in the course.
It should never happen, but if there’s an emergency a plan should be in place to deal with it robustly, whether that’s by dealing with injuries or evacuations yourself, or calling for help.
The course counts towards your continuous professional development, so you’ll receive a CPD statement on completion, along with the ProTrainings completion certificate.
