New HeartHero™ AED Training Courses Now Available from ProTrainings

When someone suffers a sudden cardiac arrest, the first few minutes are critical. Immediate CPR and early use of an AED can significantly improve survival chances – but only when people feel confident enough to act.

To build that confidence, ProTrainings has launched two new online training courses focused on the HeartHero™ AED:

These courses give learners essential life-saving knowledge alongside practical, device-specific training so they know exactly what to do and how to do it when every second counts.

What is HeartHero™?

HeartHero™ is a modern Automated External Defibrillator (AED) designed to make life-saving intervention as simple and accessible as possible.

An AED treats sudden cardiac arrest by delivering a controlled electric shock that can help restore a normal heart rhythm. The HeartHero™ AED guides users step-by-step through the process with clear voice prompts and visual instructions, so even people without medical training can use it confidently.

The system prioritises simplicity, portability, and ease of use – so when an emergency happens, the device doesn’t just sit on the wall; people can actually use it.

CPR and the HeartHero AED Training Course

The CPR and the HeartHero AED course teaches learners how to respond when someone collapses and stops breathing normally.

It focuses on clear, immediate action:

  • Recognising cardiac arrest and abnormal breathing
  • Starting CPR straight away
  • Delivering effective chest compressions
  • Deciding when to use an AED
  • Using the HeartHero AED within the chain of survival
  • Responding to adults, children, and infants
  • Supporting emergency services until they arrive

The course removes hesitation and replaces it with clear steps people can follow under pressure.

Using the HeartHero AED Training Course

For organisations and individuals with a HeartHero AED on site, the Using the HeartHero AED course teaches exactly how to operate the device in a real emergency.

Rather than general awareness, this course focuses entirely on the practical use of the HeartHero AED.

It covers:

  • Setting up and operating the HeartHero AED
  • Using the device step-by-step in an emergency
  • Following voice prompts and visual indicators
  • Switching between adult and child modes
  • Completing readiness checks and basic maintenance
  • Understanding connectivity and device status monitoring
  • Managing the AED after use

This course supports workplace first aiders, school staff, sports coaches, facilities teams, and anyone responsible for an AED.

Training That Fits Around Your Schedule

Busy workplaces and volunteers often struggle to fit training into the day.

That’s why both HeartHero™ courses run fully online. Learners complete short video modules at their own pace and access them on computers, tablets, or smartphones, making training easy to fit around work and personal commitments.

A Small Investment That Could Save a Life

Most organisations buy an AED hoping they never need it.

But if an emergency happens, the device alone isn’t enough – people need the confidence to use it.

CPR and AED training gives people that confidence. It helps them act quickly, make decisions under pressure, and step in when every second matters.

Because in a cardiac arrest, confidence saves time – and time saves lives.
