Security dog first aidSecurity Dog First Aid courses from ProTrainings now approved by NASDU, The National Association of Security Dog Users.  ProTrainings Europe are recommended by NASDU to provide Security Dog First Aid training for Security Dogs and Detection Dogs, having had the learning objectives contained in NASDU qualifications mapped against the learning outcomes.  See the NASDU website

The course covers all the material in the NASDU learning outcomes and is available was a video online course or a face to face course nationally through an approved ProTrainings security dog first aid instructor. To find a local instructor call ProTrainings on 01206 805359.

This course is approved by NASDU for the requirement of pet first aid in their standards. First aid is important to know for your security dog not only to comply with associations and local authorities but also for animal welfare and to help a dog in need. The nature of working with dogs will pose a risk that they may be harmed in the course of their work or transport.

NASDU promotes Welfare, Standards, Training and Education within the Security Dog Sector and offers support and guidance to its membership.  NASDU is recognised within the security industry by the Security Industry Authority (S.I.A.), Skills for Security, BSIA, IPSA together with the Home Office, ACPO, MOD, DEFRA, BSI, as well as Animal Welfare Groups like local Authority Dog Wardens.
