Studies showed firing beams of light into the brains of mice led to the animals moving further and faster than those without the therapy. The research, published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, could help explain how the brain recovers and lead to new treatments. The Stroke Association said the findings were interesting. Strokes can affect memory, movement and the ability to communicate. Paediatric qualifications changing to level 3 from 1st September
On the 1st September 2014 there are some changes to the Paediatric Qualifications, they are changing from a Level 2 qualification to a Level 3. This will apply to both regulated qualifications and ProTrainings qualifications. The course content is very similar and the contact time in the classroom or blended courses are remaining the same. ProTrainings will be changing course material to meet the new learning outcomes of the level 3 courses.
