This course is aimed at anyone who requires a course in health and safety awareness. It is designed to meet the Health and Safety regulations and covers regulations, precautions, planning, risk assessing, PPE, individual sectors, what causes accidents, employer/employee responsibilities, RIDDOR, COSHH, first aid, workstation/VDU safety, working at heights, gas safety, occupational health, infection control, electricity, enforcement and the dangers and links in the regulations in fire and manual handling.
This course is available fully online or nationally through our network of approved instructors as a half day course with guided learning hours of 4. Our more popular course is the Heath & Safety Level 2 course which can also be taken 100% online or nationally through our instructor network.
Please note that learners undertaking a ProTrainings Trainings Course have the option to choose to take a regulated qualification.
The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
This course comes with 3.0 hrs (4.0 class) of CPD, although the time to complete the course online may be less than this. Total course time includes 1 hour and 33 minutes of video training as well as knowledge reviews, final test, remedial help and reviewing downloaded material.
