Outdoor Pursuits 16 Hour First Aid Level 3 (VTQ)
This 16-hour Outdoor Pursuits First Aid (VTQ) course is aligned with the Institute for Outdoor Learning Band 3 Statement of Good Practice and meets UK and European Resuscitation Council guidelines, as well as HSE requirements.
Designed for those working or leading in remote environments, the course covers both primary and secondary care, with a strong focus on practical, real-world scenarios where emergency services may be delayed. It is widely accepted as the core first aid qualification for outdoor instructors and leaders.
Training is delivered over two days:
Day 1 (indoors): Barham Church Hall
Day 2 (outdoors): Queech Wood, Barham
This is a highly practical course—please dress appropriately for outdoor conditions on Day 2.
Includes CPD certification, ProTrainings certificate, and end-of-course assessment (requires an internet-enabled device).
Tea, coffee, and biscuits are provided. Lunch can be purchased locally or bring your own.
