Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 for Farmers (VTQ)
This Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Level 3 course is specifically designed for farmers and those working within agriculture, providing essential first aid skills tailored to rural and farming environments. The course covers a wide range of topics, including the role and responsibilities of a first aider, assessing incidents, managing unresponsive casualties, administering CPR and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), as well as dealing with choking, bleeding, shock, burns, and minor injuries. It also addresses workplace hazards, accident reporting, and legal responsibilities under health and safety regulations. Learners will take part in practical assessments throughout the course to build confidence and competence in applying first aid in real-life situations. On successful completion, participants receive a CPD-certified certificate valid for three years.
