EFAW for Forestry Level 3 (VTQ)
This course is ideal for people working in the forestry sector. It includes the extra subjects required including severe life-threatening wounds, crush injuries, hypothermia and Lyme Disease. It covers all the core competencies outlined by the HSE, and qualifies you to be an appointed first aider in the workplace.
This is a very practical hands-on course. You will largely work in pairs with another student, taking turns to be first aider and casualty. Please wear clothing appropriate for kneeling/lying on the ground.
Lunch and hot drinks will be provided but please bring your own snacks. There is plenty of parking at the venue.
