Course Details
Emergency First Aid at Work 6 Hour Level 3 (VTQ) - EFAW
This course is ideal for people working in a low-risk environments such as offices and retail, or where there are a low number of employees on-site. It covers all the core competencies outlined by the HSE, and qualifies you to be an appointed first aider in the workplace. It meets all the latest UK Resuscitation Council guidelines and is accepted by the SIA for those seeking employment in the door supervision and security guard sectors.
This is a very practical hands-on course. You will largely work in pairs with another student, taking turns to be first aider and casualty. Please wear clothing appropriate for kneeling/lying on the ground.
Lunch and hot drinks will be provided but please bring your own snacks. There is plenty of parking at the venue.
