Immediate Response to Gas Alarm
Alerting Others: Upon alarm activation, immediately shout "Gas! Gas! Gas!" to notify everyone of the emergency.
Personal Safety: Put on your safety hood and proceed to exit calmly but swiftly.
Post-Evacuation Actions
Once outside in fresh air, follow these steps:
- Handover of Equipment: Pass your gas detector to the safety attendant for readings.
- Equipment Shutdown: Ensure the gas detector is turned off as necessary.
- Incident Reporting: Complete an incident report detailing the event and involved personnel.
These procedures are crucial for documenting incidents and potentially initiating further investigation into the cause.
