Does the UK version of CellAED have the UKCA mark as well as the CE mark?

Yes, the UK version of CellAED® does have the new UKCA mark to show compliance.

How do you know the CellAED needs to be replaced?

CellAED® connects to the mobile phone network and sends data back to show the status of the battery and this is how we know that if you are signed up with the AED for Life™ membership, a replacement CellAED® is sent to you and you send the old one back for recycling.  This mobile connectivity also is how the heart and shock data is transmitted should you use your CellAED® and, again how we know your unit needs replacing.

Is CellAED single use?

Yes, CellAED® is single use but under the AED for Life™ membership, a new CellAED® will be sent out to you whenever the CellAED® has been used.

Is CellAED a semi-automatic or fully automatic AED?

CellAED® is a fully automatic AED that will talk you through what to do to make shocking a patient as simple as possible for anyone, regardless of their level of training.
