World Restart A Heart Day takes place on the 16th of October every year. The aim is to come together to increase awareness around cardiac arrests and CPR.
Research shows that approximately 30,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests happen every year in the UK, with less than 1 in 10 people surviving these. In some cases, performing CPR can more than double the chances of survival.
CPR is a very simple skill to learn, and it can save a life.
