We now offer the IOSH Managing Safely Course as a Virtual or Classroom Course via our sister company ITG Instructor Training Ltd. The course is designed to suit any sector worldwide and results in a certificate that is internationally recognised and respected.
Training is held at our training centre in Colchester, Essex or we can hold courses at your workplace nationwide or virtually.
This IOSH Managing Safely course is delivered over 3 days and will include 22 guided learning hours. During those three days, managers, supervisors, and learners will acquire the knowledge and skills they need to manage health and safety within their occupational environment.
This course aims to give managers and supervisors an understanding of everyone’s health and safety responsibilities in the workplace and to enable managers and supervisors to recognise how they can control, influence, and monitor risk to improve health and safety issues in the workplace.
Learners will be expected to complete a 45-minute assessment which will be completed at the end of the course under examination conditions. The exam consists of 30 questions and has a maximum of 60 marks.
Learners are also required to complete a workplace risk assessment. This is to be completed during the course or within two weeks of the end of the course. The assignment must be marked using the IOSH criteria and has a maximum of 38 marks.
