More about this course
Complete this qualification as a classroom course with one of our approved instructors, or as a virtual class using our remote training platform with a real instructor or as online video training where you navigate through a variety of videos, answer questions throughout and then book an external exam to complete the online option. Gain the same regulated qualification whichever option you choose.
Option 1 - Complete a traditional classroom course through face-to-face learning
Option 2 - Complete as virtual training through Zoom or similar
Option 3 - Complete an online video e-Learning course in your time and at your own pace (must complete (1) test one and (2) test two below)
(1) Test one is built into the system and will be immediately accessible following the completion of the online e-Learning – completing this part will produce a temporary document to confirm the completion of the e-Learning course only.
(2) Test two is still completed remotely but under invigilated conditions – you must contact compliance@protrainings.uk to book your invigilated exam. Please note, your exam cannot be scheduled within 5 days of your request, so please pick a suitable time and date and allow 5 days from your request to sit your exam – completing this part will produce a request for a regulated TQUK Level 2 Health and Safety (RQF) certificate to be generated within 3-5 days (subject to a possible EQA sample which may cause delays to certification).
Successful learners who complete option 3 will be awarded a regulated digital certificate, subject to passing an online ID check with our compliance team and completing the external exam.
All successful learners who would like to be awarded a regulated certificate must complete an online exam through the awarding organisation. This exam must be scheduled 7 days prior to the date you wish to complete the test. You must contact support@protrainings.uk or compliance@protrainings.uk to schedule this exam.
This course is also subject to an ID check to prove and validate each learner that completes this training.
Achievement of this regulated qualification will enable learners to work safely and to recognise and deal with hazards in the workplace. The aim of the qualification is to provide candidates with knowledge of the basic health and safety practices essential in the workplace. This includes the hazards and risks along with the relevant legislation and ensures awareness of cost-effective, practical control methods.
This qualification is applicable to any private or public sector working environment and provides employees with an awareness of their own safety, as well as the safety of customers, contractors and members of the public.
This Ofqual approved qualification has been developed specifically for insertion into the Qualifications and Credit Framework with full support from Pro skills. It is therefore fully compliant with industry and regulatory standards as well as being recognised by the Health and Safety Executive, auditors and other enforcement officers.
Includes the latest HSE guidance on Coronavirus COVID 19 and enforcement
Please be advised that this course has a minimum age requirement of 16.
This course gives learners the opportunity to gain a formally recognised regulated qualification. If you require funding, a regulated qualification is often required. Phone us and we can advise if needed. If you choose our course leading to a regulated qualification, there are additional assessment criteria to be undertaken with an instructor and a small extra certification charge.
